St. Mark Preschool

This preschool located on the St. Mark Presbyterian church campus in Newport Beach was designed to provide a village like small scaled setting appropriate to small children. The campus includes 4 classroom buildings with 2 classrooms in each building plus a separate building for the preschool administration. The buildings are located to provide for the maximum setback to the busy and noisy MacArthur Boulevard street and to afford maximum play area for the children. Small courtyard spaces are provided between buildings to facilitate small art projects and outdoor instructional activities. The building architecture is designed to blend with the other buildings on campus and to maintain short building heights and masses as viewed from the street.
