St. Stanislaus

Modesto, CA

Located in Modesto, California, this project includes a new 1,300-seat Catholic church, a Family Life Center, new Preschool, expanded K-8 School, and a new Rectory. The project is on an existing site with an existing single K-8 school and Community Center. The Church was built in the midst of a vineyard originally owned by the Gallo wine making family. The site was expanded by an additional 19 acres adjacent to the existing site for a total of 31 acres.

Site features such as a meditative labyrinth, devotional gardens, youth gardens, play fields, festival grounds, a gathering plaza, an amphitheater, and numerous social plazas frame the church. The architecture was designed to merge traditional forms with a contemporary worship environment.
